The controversy around Lunchly, a new grab-and-go lunch kit co-created by Logan Paul, KSI, and MrBeast, has taken another twist. On November 4, Twitch streamer BTMC became the latest in a line of viral Lunchly complaints, revealing a heavily moldy cheese section in a pizza kit on stream. Unlike earlier reports of mold spots, BTMC’s Lunchly showed extensive mold growth, with the cheese clumped together and covered in fungus, which he described as “the worst yet.”
Lunchly’s quality control has been under scrutiny since YouTuber Rosanna Pansino found mold in a Lunchly pizza kit last month. Her discovery led to a wave of skepticism, though she debunked accusations of staging by releasing an unedited clip. Twitch streamer aSpicyCow also tried to disprove the mold claims by purchasing multiple Lunchly kits but ended up finding mold in one of their last boxes as well.
In response to the rising complaints, Lunchly stated that their products go through “extensive testing” and inspections, including USDA approval, before being shipped. However, the repeated mold issues have fueled speculation about a recall. Logan Paul recently addressed these rumors, confirming that no recall has been issued.
As the product gains notoriety, the Lunchly mold discoveries have sparked conversations about food safety standards and quality control, especially for products endorsed by influential creators. Fans are watching closely to see how the company will respond to these ongoing issues.
