Brianna LaPaglia Refuses $12M NDA from Zach Bryan, Opens Up on Podcast About Alleged Abuse
Brianna LaPaglia claims ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan offered her a $12M NDA to keep quiet about their relationship; she shared details of alleged emotional abuse on the BFFs podcast.
On the BFFs podcast, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia recently opened up about her turbulent relationship with country singer Zach Bryan, describing it as a year of “emotional abuse” that left her feeling broken and fearful.
According to LaPaglia, Bryan’s team offered her $12 million along with a house and an apartment in New York City to sign a nondisclosure agreement that would prevent her from speaking publicly about their relationship. The NDA was intended to silence her for the next three years.
LaPaglia, however, rejected the offer, claiming she wanted no part of a financial settlement tied to a person who, she alleges, caused her immense emotional harm. “I still said f*ck your money,” LaPaglia stated on the podcast, expressing that any material gains would only serve as reminders of the trauma she faced.
The podcaster detailed controlling behaviors that started as early as the 2024 Golden Globes, where Bryan allegedly disapproved of her dress and attempted to restrict her social media posts. LaPaglia described these actions as part of a broader pattern of controlling and demeaning behavior that eroded her self-confidence and sense of self.
“I don’t even recognize myself anymore,” LaPaglia said, explaining the impact of the alleged abuse on her mental health and well-being. The podcast episode also touched on a diss track co-hosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards made about Bryan, which Portnoy suggested would be released despite opposition from Bryan’s crisis management team.
This revelation sheds light on the challenges faced by individuals in toxic relationships, underscoring the emotional toll that abusive dynamics can have on a person’s identity and mental health.
