On September 11th, 2024, Dr Disrespect made his return to streaming with a debut of Valve’s early access game, Deadlock. This was one of his first streams since his hiatus.

During the stream, Dr Disrespect went through the game’s tutorial and selected Vindicta as his hero before jumping into a match against other players. However, his experience quickly turned challenging when his team began abandoning the game. The first player, Grey Talon, left shortly after the match started, followed by the remaining four teammates who disconnected in quick succession.

Dr Disrespect was left to navigate the match solo and eventually decided to quit after a few minutes. He expressed confusion about the lack of teammates and continued his stream by loading into a second match. The reasons behind his team’s abrupt departure—whether they recognized Dr Disrespect and chose to leave in protest or simply abandoned the game after the first disconnect—remain unclear.

The streamer did not comment further on the incident but continued with his gaming session, switching to Escape From Tarkov. His subsequent matches in Deadlock proceeded without further issues regarding team abandonment.
