Duke Dennis Sparks Debate After Joking About 2028 Presidential Run

Streamer Duke Dennis divides fans with comments on running for US President in 2028, sparking social media debate.

Duke Dennis, the popular YouTuber and Twitch streamer, recently made headlines after joking about his potential 2028 U.S. presidential run. With over three million YouTube subscribers and more than 2.5 million followers on Twitch, Dennis has become one of the most influential figures in online entertainment. During a broadcast on November 10, Dennis spoke candidly about the state of the 2024 election, highlighting the persistence of racial issues in the country and voicing his frustrations with America’s aging political leadership.

In a surprising turn, Dennis declared, “Duke Dennis is running for president. In 2028, I’ll be 35. If y’all were to vote for me, I deadass would do a really good job.” He went on to emphasize his belief that America needs younger leadership, adding that the country’s aging officials were “ancient” and no longer in touch with the issues that matter to younger generations.

While many of Dennis's fans were amused by the comment, the idea of influencers entering politics sparked some controversy. Some viewers supported the joke, while others were skeptical, with one user bluntly stating, “We will NOT be voting for him.” The conversation took a humorous turn with another fan quipping, “We gonna get Duke running for president before GTA 6.”
