Elon Musk has responded to allegations that someone else has been playing Path of Exile 2 on his behalf, offering a tongue-in-cheek explanation during a broadcast at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club.

The claims surfaced earlier in January when Twitch streamer and Path of Exile expert Quin69 reviewed Musk's gameplay footage and questioned his in-game knowledge despite his account's high level. Fellow streamer Asmongold supported the accusations, even jokingly promising to stream on Musk's X platform for a year if the billionaire proved he had personally leveled up his account to 97.

During the broadcast on January 15, Musk directly addressed a fan's question about the "Chinese driver of my Path of Exile account." The Tesla and SpaceX CEO admitted, with characteristic humor, that he did have help. “Yes,” Musk quipped. “His name is Yilongma and he’s amazing. I rely on him for everything.” He later doubled down on the joke in a tweet, calling Yilongma his "Chinese alter-ego."
