MrBeast’s latest YouTube and Instagram video, where a Lamborghini repeatedly crashes into walls of duct tape, has sparked mixed reactions among fans. The video showcases MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) testing how much duct tape it takes to stop a supercar, progressively layering more tape until the Lamborghini’s front end is severely damaged.
The video starts with a single strip of duct tape, allowing the car to pass through easily. However, as the layers increased, the Lamborghini started to take visible damage. At 10,000 strips, the hood of the car tore off, and by 15,000 strips, it swerved off course. Finally, 25,001 strips of tape halted the car, leaving the vehicle’s front end completely wrecked.
Fans took to the comments, with some questioning the decision to destroy an expensive car for a short stunt. “Destroying a Lambo just to test tape is a bit much,” one commenter wrote, while another added, “He really went through all that just to see how much tape it took.”
Meanwhile, others enjoyed the spectacle, praising the driver and expressing excitement over the unique experiment. The video also sparked speculation on Twitter, where some suggested that the video might be AI-generated rather than an actual stunt, pointing to MrBeast’s recent use of AI in his content planning.
