Jake Paul Criticizes Mike Tyson's Rule Change Ahead of Super Fight

Jake is heading to Mike’s “playground” for their fight, ready to dominate with favorable rule changes

Jake Paul is stirring the pot once again, this time with a pointed threat aimed at boxing legend Mike Tyson.

Recently, Jake declared that he’s heading to Mike’s “playground” for their upcoming fight, but he’s not just coming for a casual sparring session—he’s ready to dominate with all the rule changes that favor him.

The highly anticipated match was initially set for July but was postponed due to Tyson suffering from an ulcer flare-up. Now rescheduled for mid-November, both fighters are back in training, and they’re feeling confident. Jake has even gone so far as to say he won’t have a backup fighter ready this time, signaling his belief that the fight is definitely going to happen.

During a recent press conference, Jake threw some shade at Tyson, reminding everyone that it was Mike who proposed the fight to consist of eight two-minute rounds. “You’re the one who wanted eight two-minute rounds,” he remarked, suggesting that he’s fully embracing the adjustments while keeping the pressure on Tyson.

While he’s confident, Jake didn’t overlook Tyson’s training progress. He admitted that Tyson “looks athletic” and “strong” in his workout videos, acknowledging the formidable challenge he’s up against. “He believes he can beat my a*s,” Jake noted, highlighting the mental game both fighters are playing as the fight date approaches.

Tyson, for his part, is undergoing rigorous pre-fight testing to ensure he’s fit to step back into the ring. Promoters, including Netflix, are reportedly keeping a close eye on his health. As the mid-November date nears, anticipation is building for what promises to be an electrifying showdown between two fighters determined to prove themselves.
