JiDion Shuts Down Claims Streaming is Harder Than a 9-5 Job

JiDion responds to streamers claiming content creation is tougher than a traditional job, asserting that working a 9-5 is more challenging.

JiDion has weighed in on the ongoing debate about whether streaming is harder than working a traditional 9-5 job, and his stance is clear: streaming is not more difficult than working a regular job.

This comes after several popular creators, including Hasan and Asmongold, argued that streaming full-time is more stressful due to the pressures of constant entertainment, travel, and maintaining content output.

However, JiDion, in a post on November 7, 2024, firmly disagreed, stating that working a 9-5 job is much harder. “When you don’t know if you’re gonna have enough to put food on the table, that outweighs the stress a multi-millionaire streamer goes through,” JiDion said. “Sure, some aspects are harder, but anybody would rather be in our position—none of us are ever willingly clocking back in.”

His comment received widespread support from fans, with many agreeing that the stress of financial uncertainty in traditional jobs is more overwhelming than the pressures faced by full-time streamers. This isn’t the first time a prominent content creator has spoken out against the idea that streaming is harder than a 9-5. Earlier this year, Pokimane also dismissed the claim, stating that streaming is not a difficult job.

The debate over which profession is harder continues to divide opinions, but JiDion's response has made a strong case that many creators and their audiences agree with.
