During a recent Mafiathon stream, Twitch sensation Kai Cenat revealed that Kick offered him $60 million to host half of his first subathon on their platform. According to Cenat, the proposal came in February 2023, just a day before he was set to start his now-iconic subathon on Twitch.
The deal reportedly involved streaming half the event on Kick and then revealing his transition to the platform.
Kai explained how he sought guidance, ultimately deciding to turn down the multimillion-dollar offer in favor of staying with Twitch. “I got down on my knees and prayed,” he told his viewers, adding that he believes this decision paved the way for his tremendous success and a stronger connection with his fanbase.
