Kick co-founder Bijan Tehrani confirmed that both Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed turned down substantial offers to stream on Kick, and now, Tehrani is setting his sights on buying out Twitch. Tehrani revealed that Kick had made a significant offer to Cenat and IShowSpeed before the platform had even launched a mobile app, but they ultimately signed with Rumble due to the flexibility offered, allowing for fewer streams per month.

In light of the rejections, Tehrani shared Kick’s new strategic focus. While the platform isn’t pursuing any major signings at the moment, it’s prioritizing technological growth. However, the co-founder hinted at Kick’s long-term ambition to either surpass Twitch or make a major move to buy it outright.
