Kick’s Viewership Skyrockets in 2024 with New Strategy

Kick achieved a 142% viewership boost in 2024 by focusing on talent from Latin America and the Middle East, cementing its global growth.

Kick

Kick experienced unprecedented growth in 2024, with a 142% increase in viewership, totaling over 2 billion hours watched throughout the year. The platform’s success stemmed from a deliberate pivot in strategy, focusing on recruiting streamers from Latin America and the Middle East. This move complemented Kick’s existing roster of high-profile English-speaking creators like xQc, Adin Ross, and Amouranth.

StreamsCharts

Data from StreamsCharts revealed that Kick's average concurrent viewers jumped by 149% to over 258,000, while active channels grew by 52.5%. This surge reflects both a rise in viewership and an increase in creators with engaged audiences.

Non-English-speaking streamers played a significant role in this expansion. Saudi Arabian creators ‘drb7h’ and ‘sxb’ garnered more viewers than xQc, despite fewer active hours. Colombian streamer Westcol emerged as Kick’s most-watched creator of 2024 with 62 million views, outperforming top names like Adin Ross and N3on.

Westcol and Spanish-speaking broadcaster mrstiventc were among the fastest-growing creators on the platform. Their success highlights Kick’s increasing appeal in markets outside North America, a trend expected to continue into 2025.

While some major streamers, including Adin Ross and YourRage, recently returned to Twitch, Kick’s viewership remains robust. xQc remarked that Kick’s performance “has never been better,” suggesting the platform’s global strategy is paying off as competition in the streaming space intensifies.
