Kick Staff Unveils N3on’s Viewbotting Scandal and True Viewership Figures
This comes after Kick took significant action in December 2023 against rampant viewbotting
A Kick staff member has confirmed long-standing suspicions that streamer N3on engaged in viewbotting, revealing the startling reality of his actual viewership. This comes after Kick took significant action in December 2023 against the rampant viewbotting on its platform, resulting in the banning of numerous bot accounts.

N3on, alongside other streamers, faced allegations of inflating their view counts through artificial means. Despite his repeated denials, skepticism remained among viewers and fellow streamers. In a recent clip shared on the N3onHQ X/Twitter account, the Kick staff member disclosed: “At one point, N3on was botting. 36,000 is now his average.”
He further emphasized the scale of the deception, noting, “At one point, I remember this dude was hitting 90,000. I’m just giving you proof that, yes, yes we’re honing in on it.” This revelation suggests that over 60,000 of N3on’s views were likely inflated, with only about a third being from genuine viewers.
In related news, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced in August its intention to tackle viewbotting and combat fake AI-generated reviews. The new ruling includes penalties for violators and introduces updated guidelines for businesses concerning reviews and social media indicators.
