Pokimane Explains Why She Canceled Her Solo Podcast for Duo Show with LilyPichu

Pokimane recently opened up about why she decided to cancel her solo podcast, “Don’t Tell Anyone,” in favor of a duo show with LilyPichu. The Twitch star initially announced her solo podcast in November 2023, but after several months of producing weekly episodes, she realized the difficulty of maintaining structured, engaging content on her own.

During her appearance on JSchaltt and Ted Nivison’s Chuckle Sandwich podcast, Pokimane explained, “I did that for a season, and honestly, at some point, it’s just like ‘I ain’t got more to say. I told all my stories.’” She elaborated that while she could talk to herself just fine, it was more challenging to come up with worthwhile topics and plan each episode thoroughly.

After switching to Sweet n Sour with LilyPichu in September 2024, Pokimane has shared a variety of stories about her life and streaming career. One of the most intriguing stories came from her first episode, where she revealed that YouTube once offered her a “life-changing” contract to stream on their platform instead of remaining loyal to Twitch, where she has since become one of the most prominent creators.
