Valkyrae Launches ‘Hihi Studios’ to Produce Anime and Original Content

Hihi Studios kicked off its journey with a co-publishing deal with GlobalComix

Top gaming streamer Rachell Hofstetter, better known as Valkyrae, has officially launched her own media company, Hihi Studios. The new venture aims to develop and produce intellectual property for graphic novels, TV shows, and films, focusing specifically on anime-inspired content.

Hihi Studios kicked off its journey with a co-publishing deal with GlobalComix, a digital comic book platform. This partnership will allow the studio to fund, creatively develop, and distribute its first intellectual property both physically and digitally.

According to the company, Hihi Studios plans to be all-encompassing, releasing shows, merchandise, and products associated with each intellectual property. The mission is to tell stories that resonate with contemporary society through diverse characters and themes. By tapping into the global communities of anime and manga, as well as the broader animation ecosystem, Hihi Studios aims to honor existing cultures while also launching innovative series inspired by Japanese anime.

Founded alongside her manager Kai Gayoso, Valkyrae’s team includes Gabe Pepe and Madeline McFerren, all affiliated with Range Media Partners, which represents her. With backing from prominent agencies like WME and Hansen Jacobson Teller & Hoberman, Hihi Studios is poised to make a significant impact in the media landscape.
